Nando is an homage to Ferdinando Innocenti: the Italian businessman founder of the machinery-works company Innocenti and manufacturer of the Lambretta motor-scooter. In fact, the nickname of Ferdinando is ... Nando. Hence, the light simply features a tube and a joint: two elements joint together to create light.
