The stylish resort town of Noosa on Australia's Sunshine Coast has recently welcomed a stylish newcomer. Built by Chris Clout Designs, Sky Garden is a sleek family home with lavish features. Freestanding staircase with curved glass balustrades? Check. Infinity pool, the one with a glass wall against the beach? Double check. But what really sets this house apart is the way the interiors, designed by CLO Studios, introduces much warmth and personality into this ultra sleek building.
Inside the house, a sophisticated palette of lichen green, beige and grey complements the sea view outside and provides a perfect backdrop for the homeowners' collection of art, mostly from local artists. The pièce de résistance is the pool-side pavilion, an outdoor living-dining space complete with an expansive sofa and sun loungers on the roof. Done in pastel shades of aqua and pink with brick-red geometric tiles, the space feels warm yet sophisticated. We can't think of a better spot to throw a few shrimps onto the barbie.
